WHO ARE WE ?

NIMAD FARMER PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED has 1,911 smallholder farmers as members across 36 villages of Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh. The FPO aims at providing secure platform to its members and eliminates the intermediaries in agri-produce.
The services of FPO include:

Crop protection measures and seed fertilisers
Capacity building of farmers on organic farming and multiple cropping
Provide credit facility from financial institutions
Inform farmers about FPO guidelines and provide them with advisory services.
Introduce agri-practices to scale-up agriculture
Acceleration of sales strategies and supply chain linkages
Create market opportunities to enhance income of farmers

Every year, during Annual General Meeting (AGM), we introduce new policies to safeguard the rights of smallholder farmers that help them adopt new farming practices. Further, the FPO addresses issues that farmers face during the production and cultivation of produce, along with monitoring the progress of farmers on individual level.

What We Do

Ensure the availability of high-yielding variety of seeds to achieve higher productivity
Supply of agri-inputs to farmers at reasonable prices
Generate awareness about Govt schemes and benefits for farmers’ agri-business
Identify the market potential and buyers to target maximum profit for farmers’ produce
Procure farmers’ yields from the farm gate
Store the procured produces in the warehouse that is owned by our FPO, for the purpose of future distribution and marketing
Undertake the seed production of various crops
Indulge the farmers in trading of commodities like cotton, wheat, maize, etc
